Description
The Moscow Soloists, one of the world’s most celebrated chamber orchestras was founded in 1992 by Yuri Bashmet who gathered together a group of young string players nominated by their professors as the most accomplished and gifted graduates of the Moscow Conservatory. Rich and diverse, its repertory ranges from masterpieces of the classical canon to challenging new works by living composers.
The Moscow Soloists are Grammy Award Winners – 2008.
At the Barbican maestro Bashmet and his orchestra will be joined by Steven Isserlis.
