Description
On the 5th December 2010 Russian Christmas comes to London as the Moscow State Screen Actors present a unique performance of Cinderella, especially for Russian speaking children aged 4-14.
Cinderella is the enchanting tale of good presiding over evil, of love and bravery and of beauty and romance. Neglected and mistreated by her stepmother and sisters, Cinderella’s life is one of drudgery and hardship until the evening of a wonderful ball at the palace when her Fairy Godmother appears to cast a spell that will change her life forever!
The Moscow State Screen Actors Theatre was founded in 1946 and to this day remains one of the cultural centres of Moscow. During the course of the theatre’s 65 year existence, over 700 of the leading Soviet and Russian actors have graced its stage, performing in dozens of spectacular shows.
Over the years, the theatre has become particularly renowned for the quality and success of its repertoire of performances aimed at children and young people.
This heartfelt tale will enchant children and parents alike and will prove that dreams really do come true!
Following the show presents will be given to all the young people by Father Frost and Snow Maiden.
